Damn Small BSD (DSBSD) is a small (50mb or less) FreeBSD live-CD environment geared toward experienced system administrators and attempts to use mature best practices wherever possible.

This project is a community effort, and as such we have no official "leader". Updates on this wiki are written by those who have an understanding about the project status at the time of a release.

Progress Report

• 12/31/07 - DSBSD_0.1P1 - Pilot release 0.1P1 is up for testing
• 12/22/07 - helio We are gearing up for our first Pilot release, which will be an incomplete test of certain concepts. Hopefully it will occur before, or very close to, the release of FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE, of which it is based.
